I followed my passion of teaching and learning yoga from Guatemala and Ecuador to Panama, England, Indonesia, Taiwan, and India, where I used to live and work training yoga teachers on 200 & 300 hour courses, as well as specialist Yin yoga courses. I now teach courses all over the world and particularly in Europe and Asia.
After completing several vipassana meditation courses, studies with an acupuncturist and multiple studies of anatomy, as well as a variety of yoga teacher training courses, I have facilitated many courses that include asana, meditation and concentration practice, anatomy, alignment and adjustment, and the art of teaching. In my teaching I give a lot of emphasis and importance to teaching as an art and the different approaches one can take.
YIN YOGA AND I
I found my true path in Yin yoga because of its relation and hidden connection to the 4 dimensions of the body (physical, mental, emotional and energetic). In particular I have passion in sharing the way that Yin yoga targets the inter-connected web of fascia connective tissue which encourages a natural unwinding of the body's matrix of tension, known as myo-fascial release. This has always been a driving force for extended research and special workshops. The Chinese 5 Elements give me a lifetime supply of inspirational ways to create classes, workshops and retreats to make yoga accessible to all.
