And so in October 2016, after working 20 years in advertising, I quit my corporate job to follow my heart and passion for yoga full time. And I have been traveling and teaching yoga in beautiful places around the world since.
I teach Vinyasa flow, Hatha flow and Yin yoga. There are many names for various yoga styles, but in general in my classes I focus on alignment and connecting with your own body; listening in and feeling your body. So my flows are mainly slow flows
so that you get the time to connect and feel. And also have time to get into the correct alignment for your own body. In my Yin classes the aim is to have an even deeper connection with your body and heart as you work on the connective tissues.
I hope that with my classes you find that connection with yourself and with your heart and find the peace and stillness that is so important to have in our lives now and then. And along the way we become stronger and more flexible and also have some fun!
I feel very blessed to be able to work with Riverheart retreats and lovely Samm, who I studied with in India. I just know how amazing it is to be on a yoga retreat and to have a little escape from your busy (probably urban) life and how it can change your life. The whole reason that I'm on my current adventure all started with a yoga retreat I went on in the south of Spain in 2015. To be able to work at a retreat and being able to give that experience to other people is my dream. I hope you will come and join us. It really is the best gift you can give yourself.
